A fun, natural shoot with minimal posing. I like to focus on the interactions between you and your family.
Instead of the forced smiles, you can expect some silly noises & techniques from behind the camera to try get children engaged & smiling.
Ultimately, I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if it’s not your favourite place to be (here’s looking at you, dads!).
There will be lots of play, cuddles and I’ll definitely drop my lens cap at some stage.

I normally try to send a sneak peek or two within a few days.
You will have access to your gallery after two weeks.

Well, hello Melbourne! I am open to shooting in the rain, as long as it’s not torrential.
Just be sure to bring your wellies, a rain coat & an umbrella.

If shooting in the rain is not your thing – I am happy to reschedule to a drier day.

I will have a release form for you to sign & let me know your preferences.

I will offer slight prompts but I am ultimately there to capture your essence as a family.
For example, I’ll probably say, “the closer, the better” or “group hug!” 

Comfort is key! Wear something that makes you feel great & authentically you.
Your discomfort will definitely show in your photos, and will make them look unnatural.
Try to avoid bold patterns or logo branded clothing.

For him – Plain T-shirt / collar shirt, jeans / chinos, and comfy shoes.

For her – Flowy dress / pants / jeans & a pretty top, with comfy shoes.

For little ones – same as him & her, although, headbands / hats add a cute touch.

For teeny tiny ones – special outfit of choice, something of sentimental value or the nude / bare bum.
